Scalambra LLC is young indeed but our achievements speak for themselves: Our main production, the bilingual Play “La Lezione di Teatro/The Acting Class” has been presented multiple times in Dubai and Abu Dhabi and it has toured in Europe and Asia, from London to Karachi; it has been awarded best foreign play at the Junction Award 2024.

Our short-play productions have won all the awards available in the two main Festivals in the UAE: Short+Sweet 2025 and XFest 2026. Our site specific interventions, for the Dubai Expo or Sharjah Book Fair have been memorable. Scalambra is young indeed but it is already recognized as an active and leading player in shaping the UAE's performing arts and cultural scene at large.
